Jesus Christ vs Julius Caesar

There is more evidence for Jesus Christ than there is for Julius Caesar. Yet people don't doubt Caesars existence, so why do they question Jesus' existence?

Here is some evidence for the existence of Julius Caesar:

i. “Caesar is responsible for the year as we know it having 365 days, and for the existence of a leap year every four years.” (www.dictionary.com). The Roman month Quintilis, (meaning "fifth month"), in which Caesar was born, was renamed “July” in honour to him.

ii. Caesar was cremated after his brutal murder. His ashes lie in the ruins of the 'Temple of Caesar'. A site many people still go to today, laying flowers and throwing coins on the remaining remnant of rubble at the Roman Forum.

Here is sufficient evidence of Caesars life and death. However, the evidence for Jesus' Life, Death and Resurrection is even greater!

i. You can read of Jesus' birth, life, death, and resurrection in the Gospels, (the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). They are an immaculately accurate account about what Jesus said and did whilst He was on earth. Moreover, historically and geographically they are flawless books written some years after Jesus' ascension.

ii. Unlike the shrine where Caesars remains are, there are no bones of Jesus and there are no ashes of Jesus, but there is His empty tomb. It's empty because He rose from the dead!

iii. There are 500+ witnesses to seeing the risen Jesus at the same time. Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve. After that, He appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time – 1 Corinthians 15

The choice is yours whether you decide to believe in who He said He was. You can either accept Him or reject Him, you have the choice. But remember, one day you will come before Him face to face. If you choose to reject Him, you will live in regret for eternity. If you choose to accept Him, you will find out very quickly He is who He says He is.
