Christ, Church, and the Coronavirus.

Church,
To say we are living in strange times is an understatement! Everything has changed. I work full-time in a supermarket and the past couple of months have been absolutely surreal. So, apologies for lack of content and general quietness over these months.

Coronavirus may have caused our Church gatherings to temporarily stop, however, we serve a Holy God who does not change. Let's keep serving Him during these days. We are all in this together, and I want to share some simple encouragement during these trying times.

1. Repent
We should confess our sins to God. By confessing our sins we are able to approach The Almighty, Who is still on the Throne, with our prayers.

2. Refuge
Christ is stronger than Covid-19. In fact, Jesus is stronger than anything we face. We should seek shelter in Him, for He is our safe place.

3. Remain
Some of you may have encountered difficult days already, and maybe there are some difficult days ahead, but I urge you to remain faithful to Jesus - for He is worthy.

Let's fix our eyes on Him.

God Bless,
Isaac

The Start of Something New

-
I first starting posting Christian encouragement on social media back in October 2014. Since then, I have shared something that could help others in their walk with the Lord Jesus every day. The ministry has grown to over 250,000 followers across Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. So why have I decided to leave? A few months ago I felt like what I was doing on social media was becoming a bit stale (not exactly 'fresh!') and I felt slightly uneasy about it. I decided to pray about it, and through the Holy Spirit, God gave me a vision. God showed me two places to get food. A fast food restaurant in the middle of a busy place, and a quieter backstreet place to grab better quality food. I saw FreshFaith like a fast food restaurant. It was producing quick, easy food (content), without really being beneficial to the person receiving it. I saw that whilst it was still food, it wasn't what it should be. The quieter place on a backstreet would produce better quality food and be ben...

1 Peter 3:15 | My Answer

-
“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.” – 1 Peter 3:15 I believe Jesus is Who He says He is. In the Book of John, Jesus said that He is “the Way, the Truth, and the Life,” and I have reason to believe Him at His Word. Let's look at this in more detail. 1. The Way In the Old Testament God provided for Israel the Law - the Ten Commandments - which highlighted a flawless blueprint to living a pure life for Him. It also highlighted that human beings aren't able to live without breaking that Law, therefore highlighting sin. In a way to combat the disease of sin, God showed a way to make atonement to Him which was through sacrifices and offerings. Throughout the Old Testament, there are prophets declaring that Something better is coming; that Something is Someone . The New Testament begins with that Someone - the Man Jesus Christ. The only One fully Man and fully G...

What does Philippians 4:13 really mean?

-
Image
We have all heard this part of Philippians being used by preachers: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Sadly, it is so often taken completely out of context that many of us (myself included) have not been hearing the truth of what Paul meant when he penned these words. This year I have been working my way through some phenomenal Bible teaching videos by David Pawson on YouTube. He explains the true meaning of Philippians 4:13 so well that I felt compelled to pass on what I've learnt. (Side note: If you are serious about going deeper with Jesus, I'll leave the link to David Pawsons channel below. Genuinely some of the best Christian teaching around.) So... What does Philippians 4:13 really mean? This verse is about being able to live on your income. Paul is writing to say that he knows how to be content with what he has got. He is saying that “I have been able to cope with a little and with a lot, I've coped being well fed and being hungry, and that in ...
